Bronlynn Thurman, 33

Bronlynn is a creative, thinker, and Akronite. A true Midwesterner through and through. You can often hear her sing out a “hiya doing?” when greeting someone, but she refuses to say pop over soda.

Professionally, Bronlynn works in the philanthropic sector, focusing on equitable community development and arts education.

In her spare time, Bronlynn is exploring the world through books, traveling, cycling, and hiking. She runs two local community groups; Black Women Explore and the Coffee & Cocktails Book Club. Bronlynn is an avid reader and passionate library and farmers’ market advocate. Photography, writing, and illustration are her primary artistic outlets and you will see some of her work featured here. She can most often be found at her local coffeeshop or cocktail bar.

Bronlynn received her B.S. in Advertising and M.S. in Information Architecture & Knowledge Management - UXD from Kent State University.
